Laboratory tests can demonstrate:
Moderate or important elevation of transaminases
Bilirubin and alkaline phosphatase normal or slightly increased
Increased ammonia
Prothrombin time increased
Hypoglycemia
Increased cerebrospinal fluid pressure without pleocytosis (leukocytes <8/mm³)
Increased blood urea nitrogen
Hyperaminoacidemia (glutamine, alanine, lysine)
Hypocitrullinemia
There are no drugs or conditions that can alter laboratory test results.
